Paid AI credits refresh each verified monthly billing period; Free credits use their 30-day refresh cycle. Output examples show the maximum when credits are used only for that action; actual totals depend on the mix of tools and options you choose. New Free accounts receive 5 regular credits per refresh; historical balances remain protected for review.
Keep your handouts and student activities available, and reuse your saved sounds and images across lessons. Manage, download, and delete your own resources on every plan. Add from Library reuse is included with eligible paid plans and active Premium Trials.
Cloud storage accumulates; it does not refresh monthly like AI credits. Free: 50 MB; Pro: 1 GB; Power Teacher: 5 GB; School: 20 GB per account. Audio, images, saved PDFs, and review activity files share this allowance. Shared physical files count once; student recordings have separate limits. Worksheet count limits are separate. Audio and PDFs: up to 20 MB per file; images: up to 10 MB.
New Free Review Handouts remain available for 30 days. Eligible paid plans and active Premium Trials retain them while access is active. Subscription loss or trial expiry gives retained handouts a 30-day grace period; protected older content keeps its protections. Being over quota after a downgrade blocks additional saved bytes and does not itself delete anything. Use My Resources to free up space or upgrade. Echo Quest and Adventure Quest keep their separate plays and access dates: recharge adds game access with credits, keeping the same URLs and QR codes.

Pro costs $5.99 per month and gives you 200 AI credits for regular lesson preparation.
Your plan includes a monthly allowance of AI credits. Regular unused credits do not roll over to the next billing period. Free accounts refresh on their existing 30-day credit cycle; paid accounts renew on the date shown by Stripe.
When you upgrade, your new plan starts after your payment is confirmed. You receive the new plan’s full monthly credit allowance, replacing your old regular balance, and a new billing cycle begins. Review the actual Stripe charge, including applicable credits, prorations, discounts and tax, before confirming. It is not always the difference between monthly prices.
When you downgrade, your current paid plan remains active until the end of your billing period. Your new plan and its monthly credit allowance begin when that period ends.
Bonus credits awarded by ESL Tools are separate from your monthly credits. Unused bonus credits carry over between billing periods and remain available after plan changes or cancellation, unless an expiration date was explicitly specified. Current admin grants are non-expiring.
Regular monthly credits are used first. Bonus credits are used when your regular credits run out. Bonus credits do not unlock features that require a paid plan.
You can cancel your subscription without immediately losing your remaining paid period. At the end of that period, your account changes to Free with 5 regular credits, and unused bonus credits remain available. Premium-only access ends; saved resources follow the existing retention policy. Retained Review Handouts receive their established 30-day grace period, and game play limits and access dates remain separate.

Historical credit balances with incomplete records are protected pending a support review.
